Sogetsu Ikebana Art presents the Japanese art Ikebana in Bulgaria
Sogetsu Ikebana Art presents the Japanese art Ikebana in Bulgaria with an exhibition featuring artist compositions by Bulgarian and Japanese artists and a workshop in which you will be able to create an Ikebana. The project promotes the art of flower arrangement, related to the principles of harmony, grace and proportion.
Ikebana Workshops on 20 October, 10 November, 1 December
The workshops led by Miroslava Ivanova Sensei and Eikou Sumura Sensei will be held on 20 October, 10 November, 1 December. Workshop participants will get acquainted with the art and flower arrangements developed by the most modern ikebana school in the world with representations in over 100 countries - Sogetsu School of Ikebana.
The ikebana workshops on 20 October and 10 November will be led by Miroslava Ivanova sensei, a third-grade ikebana
teacher at Sogetsu School of Ikebana.
The third ikebana workshop, on 1 December, will be led by Sumura Eikou sensei, Master ikebana instructor at Sogetsu School of Ikebana.
The one-day ikebana workshops (October 20 and November 10) will give participants the opportunity to learn about and practice two styles of ikebana, as well as part of the philosophy of this art. During the workshop on October 20, participants will be able to learn different techniques and skills for creating Moriban-style ikebana compositions (in low-vase), and on November 10, they will be able to learn and practice ikebana-style Nageire compositions (in a high vase).

Admission: The price for participation is 100 BGN. for the workshops on 20 October and 10 November. The price for the workshop on 1 December is 140 BGN.
