We invite you this Thursday, 25 July 2019, at 8 pm, at SKLAD (16 Ekzarh Yosif Str.) for the first public introduction to the programme of ADATA AiR in 2019!
A brief over the whole schedule and activities programmed for ADATA AiR: 2019. Outdoor performances, site-specific works , installations and all the rest planned to happen in Plovdiv in the upcoming months between the end of July and November.
In the presentation will take part also four of the authors of art works that we will be able to see in 2019 in Plovdiv:
- Serge Ecker and Alexandra Dimitrova are going to invite all of us straight ahead for 28 July, Sunday, when they will launch a "Raft of the Maritsa". The happening Сал на Марица | Raft of the Maritsa is the work which marks the beginning of the whole programme ADATA AiR: 2019!
- Katharina Swoboda and Kamen Stoyanov will share with us about their motivation to work in Plovdiv and the "Alyosha" Monument as an inspiration for creating a short film. All art projects which will be presented in the ADATA AiR: 2019 programme were prepared by their authors as a result of their artistic residences in Plovdiv, in the duration of between two weeks and two months, between April and December 2018.

From the end of July 2019 to the beginning of November the riverside areas in Plovdiv will be an epicenter for the realization of artistic interventions in the urban environment. The projects were selected on the basis of the proposals received from the artists who participated in the ADATA AiR programme in 2018. Their proposals were developed as a result of artistic residences in Plovdiv supported by Plovdiv 2019 Foundation in the first stage of the programme.
